One evening, my best friends (Zhi Jian and Vincent) and I went for supper. We had a craving for carrot cake but were contemplating on whether to get the white... or the black carrot cake...
So, Zhi Jian the genius suggested... "Let's get half black half white since we can't decide..."
And I believed... walked up to the store... "Uncle, ban hei ban bai (half black half white)..."
He gave me the... hello boy... I'm running a business... don't try to be funny look... and told me... they don't sell that!
