I discovered something interesting.
In many things that we do, we gradually get into a certain rhythm.
As we run, our breathing gets into a regular rhythm.
Singing. Sleeping. Studying.
Working. Eating. "You name it"-ing.
The smooth functioning of these day-to-day chores often require us to get into a certain level of rhythm, ensuring a certain level of consistency and efficiency.
I believe in our day-to-day interaction with others, rhythm plays an important role as well.
Everyone has a different rhythm. There are people whom we quickly get into the same rhythm with, and there are others whom who simply can't. Is time of the essence? Or is effort?
I don't know.
What I do know is that rhythms are often subjected to being broken or disrupted. Getting back at them may pose to be an uphill task, but once we return, a sense of sweet comfort and quiet confidence returns.
to be continued...
