Aligning... 0.98%

~Well rested! Physically and spiritually...~

Actually, I think I was burnt out on Thursday night! I was tasked to complete some research for my project in preparation for a project group meeting the following day which was a Friday. However, I went for Varsity Christian Fellowship and made a "touch-down" at my doorstep at approximately 11pm. Torn between getting straight on with my research or taking a short nap, I eventually fell prey to the latter...

x_X

*Alarm rings once*

I "snooze-d" it... Rings again... snooze... *again again - says Teletubbies*... snooze snooze... I've had IT!

Goes straight for the Off button - Ok... Not exactly straight considering I was in some sorta slumber!

That was it... I ended up having only 1 short hour to do my research before I had to leave "Ulu Punggol" and head for school. I really have to thank God excellent group members who prepared well enough thus leading to a fruitful arranged consultation session with our teaching assistant.

After my lecture, I met up with Cynthia and we went to the career fair. I felt out of place, and probably ought to feel out of place! I was only a year 1 student and most students who went to the fair were graduating students. However, I managed to get an overview of the current job market and was assured that what I'm studying does open job opportunities - at least for now.

This week's the E-learning week for the Communications and New Media department so all the lectures were webcasted and some tutorials were actually conducted via a online forum. On Friday, I had to post at least 1 comment on the forum by 2359 to somewhat prove my "attendance". After dinner, I was struggling to think of what to post and before I knew it... it was time to go to Carmen's house for home fellowship. I had around 5 more hours before the online forum closes! I worked on the comment using Cynthia's laptop during the journey to Carmen's house. Pastor and Auntie Jane came to pick us up from NUS! Had a great time of fellowship learning from Deacon Choon Yee about experiencing joy in our lives during home fellowship.

Happiness - Arises from circumstances... often temporal

Joy - Source drawn from God... should be rooted permanently in a Christian's life... transcends beyond trials and tribulations...

I finally managed to post my comment after home fellowship! *Hurray*

*Full zonk-out* after I've reached home! Had a long snugly sleep....

~~ Memories continues Saturday morning @ 10am. Location: Sofa bed...

After a good night's rest, time for a good morning's work out! I went for an 1/2 hr run around the estate and wanted to PLAY BASKETBALL but... I was too lazy. =X How on earth can I grow taller like that? Someone please provide me with a feasible and short solution to my "short" problem.

*picks up phone to call Yao Ming* "Hello, I demand you lend me some height...."

Beep.
Beep..
Beep...

Line goes dead...

ANYWAYS... after the run, I then went on to burn a dvd for a certain someone. So upset it didn't work on the actual CD!! *RARRRRHHH* But it's ok... hopefully it works fine this time round!

Then came Youth Fellowship! I had a great time learning a little something new about my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. I certainly hope we'll get to know one another better and become better accountability partners to each other! =)

We also learnt about dealing with spiritual boredom during Youth Fellowship.

Main causes:
1) Over indulgance
2) Under-exertion/ Under-commitment

Possible solutions
1) Contentment
2) Diligence
3) Growth
4) Be somebody new
5) Build relationships

Just a brief sum up!

Went for dinner and after dinner, had a GREAT time of fellowship with brother Ian! We went to Kinokuniya and I bought a 3-book bundle. Came across this author when I was in Popular bookshop with my JC classmate.... *drum rolls*... Mr Malaysia aka Zesin. The author is Jodi Picoult and this is a picture of the bundle I purchased.

YUPS. Updates end here! I'm certainly looking forward to meeting a new friend (Carmen's friend) by the name of Nigel tomorrow morning. Hope we'll have a blessed time together learning from God's word and of course worshiping Him in spirit and in truth!

Till next the next post.... Bye for now~
