Turning

Tell me you love me, tell me that you're mine again.
Tell me you won't turn away.
Turn like the season, turn back to me once again,
circling all the way.

Once you were my blue eyed prince,
waking love from an endless sleep.
You made all of my wishes come true,
turning all of my dreams into you.

Turning and swirling and whirling 'round' you again,
twirling and curling 'round' you.
Turning and burning and yearning for you again,
All my life with you.

It's a chance, a romance, it's a dance we do.
Turning in circles we go.
Turn like the season, turn back to me once again.
Never let me go.

But lately i'm losing sleep,
someone else is in your eyes.
Won't you turn back to me, my love?
Won't you stop telling me lies?

Turning and swirling and whirling 'round' me again,
Twirling and curling 'round' me.
Turning and burning and yearning for me again.
All your life with me.

Tell me you love me, tell me that you're mine again.
Tell me you won't turn away.
Turn like the season, turn back to me once again,
circling all the way.

Hello peeps!

I thought it might be interesting to share 1-2 spiritual lessons I've experienced (Praise the Lord!) amidst this highly stressful period of time in school.

I am beginning to enjoy these little but thought provoking encounters and I pray that I'll continue to be extra sensitive to God's prompting amidst trials! =P

Thought of the day - Part 1

Remember the times when we enjoy doing a particular thing (no matter how small it might be) which reminds us of someone we love?

A chinese proverb/ 成语 which closely parallels this concept would be...

爱屋及乌 - "比喻爱一个人而连带关心到跟他有关系的人或物".

However, unlike the Chinese proverb which seem to have a negative connotation attached to it, there are more to just simply following blindly and mirroring what that person likes to do. Although there are times when it seems like we are simply creating imaginary-thought bubbles, which makes us feel a little more attached to the person just because we are doing a common activity, I personally feel that this is more of a conscious choice made to remember/ experience/ care about the people I adore and it reminds me of the people I hold dearly to.

Food for thought:
Then, I began thinking about my love for Christ Jesus. Does my adoration and love for the God naturally surface as I go about my daily routine? Does my actions reflect Christ-likeness? Do I do things just simply because I love Him and want to be more like Him? Do I make a conscious effort to experience Him even in the little tasks I have on hand?

Ok... it's late... I'll post Thought of the day - Part 2 soon!
