Aligning... 0.99991%

My examinations ended on the 21/06/08 (Saturday).

Super intensive... *Zip-zap-whoosh-whish*...

... flew by before I knew it! For the group project, met with interesting group mates with the most interesting group dynamics, thank God we managed to pull through without much complications! I had a great deal of fun "fiddling" with our powerpoint slides as well as the scripting for the presentation. This eventually led me to a situation where my final examinations was left neglected!

Silly me, bad sense of priority once again...

'\[x_@]/' (shrugs)

Nonetheless, I'm just glad that the presentation went quite alright... besides the fact that I messed up my cue cards halfway through the presentation and turned all jittery and panicky! Long way to go before mastering the art of being a good presenter... gotta find a "shifu" and audition for the sequel which follows Kungfu Panda... *Hiii-YaAhH*

The Kungfu Presenter!
(punches fists with presenter/ pointer in mid-air, somersaults & shoots cue cards all around the room)

Snaps back to reality... ok... what now... on to events which follows after my examinations...

de "Ire.volution"
(yes... that's right... de Irving revolution... Ire = intense anger, wrath... and erhm.. the "anyhow" use of "de")

First up, de "Room" Ire.volution
Update: Swapped room with my sister... it's... erHmz... PINK now!

Other than the room colour... a few other changes...

1. The height of the hanger positioned behind the door... has drastically dropped... much to the contrary of rising temperatures brought about by climate change (*Alert: GREEN message)

2. Two layers of curtains... one with purple flowers... the other with a kinda lacey translucent white feel...

... amongst many others... but all in all...

I'm just glad she is happy with the arrangement! =P

So nothing to ire about actually... just wanted de Ire.volution to look cool! HAHAHA!

(Picture taken at night using camera phone)

Oh yes, next up... we've got de "Cupboard" Ire.volution....

It's time to go shop for new clothes and revamp my cupboard! But one step at a time... shall see what I need most and slowly phase out v1.0 of my clothes... before progressing and upgrading to v2.0. This in turn leads me to talk about the super-uber-duper-califragilisticexpialidocious fun-filled and fruitful Wednesday I had.

de "Super-uber-duper-califragilisticexpialidocious lifestyle" Ire.volution

Upon the completion of planning for an insurmountable task, I went to bed early on Tuesday night, at around 10.30am and woke up at 8.00am hoping to rise up to the challenge!

I... am the Dragon Warrior...

Ok.. enough of that Kung Fu Panda nonsense. The fact is, I haven't been exercising for donkey years, and I actually wanted to run 10km from Punggol to Serangoon Swimming Complex, swim 10 laps and thereafter run the return route of 10km back home. I was all excited and packed a waterbag with my swimming trunks, keys, Ez-link card etc. After starting out for about 2km, I was already feeling the strain... peered down my foot and could see the ants mocking at me before running off faster than I could catch up with them! (Exaggeration) But no... I didn't give up! *sweeps hair to the back of my head... and completed the 1st 10km run and subsequently the 10 laps in the pool. I must say the cooling swim after the run was therapeutic! After which, I couldn't run home.. decided to take the bus instead! x_X

"Sings/ Shrieks: ...I tried so hard.. and got so far... in the end... it doesn't really matter... "

Dragging my feet along, I bought lunch for my mummy and myself before heading home. Then I saw this really touching Korean documentary on Channel i-can't-remember-what-channel, but it was a Korean channel on cable if I'm not wrong.

The documentary talks about a family with 3 children in total. The eldest son (Boy A) was born with normal eyesight but his 2 younger brothers (Middle child - Boy B & youngest child - Boy C) were born blind. I started watching the program at the part where these 2 young blind boys went grocery shopping for their mother by themselves. Boy B was very timid when he was younger but he was slowly opening up to the world and was even brave enough on this account to bring his younger brother around to purchase some groceries. They struggled a little bit but they pulled through back home unscathed. What really impressed me was not only the determination of the children living with courage without their sight... without complaints... but the determination of their mother who stuck by them and believed they could live a normal life.

When Boy B was born, the grandmother mentioned that the father was so upset he kept shining his torch into his eyes and was hoping for him to see. Words from people stung the heart of their grandmother as well... as strangers who saw the kids thought they were asleep and they were actually blind.

Now comes this part or rather this statement their mother shared which knocked some serious sense into me, making me realize that in trials and tribulations, I should trusting in the Lord and keeping my faith and eyes set upon Him. Instead of giving thanks for blessings given by the Lord, many times I have been focusing and worrying about the stumbling blocks which litters my Christian pathway.

When Boy C was born, instead of lamenting on the fact that life's unfair, their mother was happy and thankful for the birth of the youngest son. She mentioned that because of his birth, now both the brothers had someone to relate to (one another), and more importantly, Boy C had an older brother to really look up to!

One could never be blinder than to not see the living works of our Lord Jesus the Christ!

Ok.. back to the events on Wednesday...

I took a short nap before heading out of my home to collect my DRIVING LICENSE @ Sengkang Post Office. I was supposed to be delivered to my home but when the postman came, my mum was taking a shower and the postman just left a note and informed be to collect personally from the post office instead. It's well worth the trip as I see the picture of myself in the license smiling back at... me? Haha, think I looked quite silly smiling all the way to the train station.

I went on to meet my junior college classmate @ City Hall before walking over to visit The Arts Museum!

Hoping to have been dabbed by the artistic nimbus of the museum, I tried to take a picture to unleash my artistic talent...

(Credits to Zesin for lending me play with his DSLR)

and failed...

but well... as the it states on the sticker (pass to enter the museum)

Art - No Experience is Necessary

Ok... I'm getting lazy... last stop of the day! After having dinner @ Sushi Tei, we went bowling @ Marina!

*awesome*

Been wanting to bowl and credits again to Zesin for being willing to bowl with me, I highly doubt any of my other JC friends would be willing to bowl with me... well... I guess or they are just plain scared to face the King of Pins.... (intentionally eggs JC friends on for a bowling showdown)

as stated in the slogan for my Facebook picture...

"You've seen Remy Ong... it's time for the 后浪 to 推 de 前浪... we give you our best, give it up for Irving the Bowel (power) Bowler!"

That's all for now... *yawns and stretches....*

I've got a conference (Ad:Tech 2008) from 8.30am to 4pm in the afternoon... Got to hit the mattress and bask in the pinkness of my room soon!

Before that, leaving you guys with some updates on the....

Upcoming eXhilara-tivities... (definitely not for the faint-hearted)

*MIGHTY ROARS*

WooOOoOOo... *Inspired by Judith's neat file with piano scores*

I am SO compiling a file with guitar chords and lyrics of songs I've picked up in the past few years.

I will be heading out to town to meet 2 of my JC classmates and I am going to forage for a nice file to house all my guitar chords and tabs.

*Looks at "sheet" (music) stuck up on the ceiling.. There you are...!*

GrrRR, left my guitar in church but... I am so going to learn this song as soon as I get my wife to come back to me.

Midnight Hour - Running Away.

Running Away by
Midnight Hour

Don't lie and say that it's OK.
It's alright if there's nothing more to say.
So I'm running away.
I'm leaving this place.
Yeah, I'm running away.
I'm running away.

Don't tell me I'm the one to blame.
It's too late for you to make me stay.
No, I won't stay.
So I'm running away.
I'm leaving this place.
Yeah, I'm running away.
I'm running away.

And faster than you can follow me from this lonely place.
And farther than you can find me, I'm leaving
Yeah I'm leaving today.
And I, I'll never let you find me.
I'm leaving you behind with the past
No, I won't look back.
And I don't want to hear your reasons.
Don't want to hear you tell me why I should stay.

And try, and try to understand me
And try to understand what I say when I say I can't stay
I, I'm moving on from this place
I'm leaving and I won't quit running away.

I'm running away.
I'm leaving this place.
Yeah, I'm running away.
I'm running away.

Aligning... 0.9998%

I am so not focused on my readings! There are just far too many words...

I've only got 2 eyes larh, how to finish reading...?

Ok... looks like I missing the main point, not prioritizing well!

Here's a pretty old Chinese song worth indulging in (reminiscence)...
