One of my fellow sister-in-Christ spoke about how faithfully the men in the armed forces are counting down to their days in service. As Christians, we ought to do just the same, to be good stewards of our time and resources. I just thought it was a good reminder for us to consider every step of our Christian walk as blessings of God's providence.
When left to ourselves, we are susceptible and easily ensnared by temptations. Whenever we take God out of the equation of living our everyday lives, sin sets it. Due to our sinful nature, there is a need for us to constantly be reminded of our inadequacies in dealing with sin.
Although I am no longer in (national) service, there is a need to be reminded of being in service for the church ministry and to act as we are commanded to fulfill the great commission. Another aspect to look into is ensuring that our spiritual lives are undergoing through servicing through the guidance of God's word.
As the examinations draw near, the counting down of my days to the end of this semester begins. Do pray for me to be able to work heartily for His namesake and take care the process and leave the final product in His hands.
