Yay-Ness! I had a great time of fellowship with Zj after class ended at 4pm yesterday. While waiting for him to finish up with his track training, I did my readings @ Business faculty until around 6pm before I made my way to the Sports Recreation Centre to look for him. I haven't been running round a track for donkey years and it did bring back some memories when I lingered around and waited for him at the spectator's stand.
After which, we traveled to Clementi with the intention of getting our textbooks for the new semester. Lo and behold, the bookstore was closed for business at 7.00pm and we were half an hour late. Even though this is the 2nd week of the new semester, given the immense amount to be read dedicated by our lecturers, not getting my text signifies that I am seriously behind in my readings.
We left for Pastor's house for dinner before heading back home. Pastor shared the gospel with Zj after dinner while I played tug-of-war with Jayjay. I was seriously "owned" and ended being scratched by it. So if anyone sees me on the street with those scratch marks, no... I am not involved in any quarrels with any girls.
Anyway, this has been a great week so far! I hope that I'll be able to catch up with my readings, not only for my academic school work but more importantly the reading of His Word... that I might grow spiritually and stand strong in the face of trials and temptations.

This is like one of the most ideal day this year... so far! Woke up, went for a run, spoke to a certain someone (undisclosed) online, read the bible, had an afternoon nap, woke up, had dinner, watch chinese drama show with my mum and dad, played the guitar... and doing my readings now! To round it all up nicely, I should really rest and sleep early!
Amidst all this peace, I was reminded that in times like this, we should really dig into GOD's word and be rooted in His word. This is
to PREPARE ourselves in what lies ahead, be it for the testings from GOD or times when satan attempts to ensnare us...
to STRENGTHEN us in faith and so that we'd not sway from left to right as we are treading the paths of our Christian walk with GOD ...
to GRANT us with the peace of GOD and refrain us from being tossed around and about by the waves of life

G00D MoRNinG to aLL! *bows*
It's the 1st day of school and I believe it's a gRRrrRrEaT day to serve the Lord too! I will treat every school day as serving the Lord our living saviour and do my best for His namesake! =P
AMEN to that?!
AMEN!
I woke up this early on a Saturday 2 weeks ago to meet up friend for a Macritche run. This time around, I had to wake up to do some readings before heading off for school! Checked the school's website for a map and got my bearings right. This means I won't be bumping off like a dazed-0-sheep when I am in school later.

Having one of those sleepless nights, which is exceedingly rare to me! Certain conundrums have been "lulling" me to sleep, depriving me of several good night's rest.
Instead of tossing and turning, I've decided to channel these unsettling time and energy into good and practical use - to resolve some of the resolutions I've set out for myself this coming year...
1. Read the Bible once through.
2. Uphold Church Theme: Together we build, United we grow.
3. Exercise self-control over usage of the internet and computer.
I've been using Philippians 4:13 as my MSN nick for a pretty long period of time and I've decided it's about time to move along.
My goal this year is to gain the peace of God in my heart by meditating on His word and maintaining communication with God through perpetual prayer and supplication.
I'll be taking my bearings from Philippians 4:6-7 this coming year...
6 do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.
7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
God bless! May we continue striving to be faithful servants to our Lord Jesus Christ and show our gratitude through living each day as a good testimony and witness to people around us.
